Why Baptist World Aid Australia?
If you have a desire to be part of a passionate, committed, people-oriented organisation that is committed to ending poverty… then you’re in the right place!
Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 24 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty. Last year, our work benefited over 800 000 people.
When you join Baptist World Aid, you’ll become part of a rich, 60-year history. As a valued member of our team, you’ll be integral to achieving our mission of helping Australians tackle the injustice of global poverty.
We’re looking for someone with the know-how, passion, and commitment to inspire our faithful supporters to action on poverty… is it you?
Seeking an enthusiastic volunteer with a keen eye for detail, to assist Baptist World Aid’s Child Sponsorship team with key administrative tasks. You will review profiles of children awaiting sponsorship, and assist in producing annual updates on sponsored children and the projects they’re involved in. Whether you simply want to be generous with your time and talents or are looking to gain valuable work experience in the not-for-profit sector, this volunteer opportunity is for you!
